The idea of small groups and their importance
Small Group meetings are held every Thursday evening at 7:30pm. These provide an opportunity for bible study, discussion and prayer. Becoming part of a small group is a great opportunity to be involved in CU, develop in our understanding of God, and encourage and support one another in our daily lives at university. It also helps us to get to know Christ better.
The groups are lead by first, second and third year students who prepare and lead studies based on themes and books in the Bible. The groups are there to be a support and encouragement for Christians and are also geared towards introducing people to the Bible and to Christ for the first time. There are many opportunities for both new and old Christians to be encouraged and to be an encouragement through studying the Bible and getting to know other people in the group.
