Exec

The CU exec is a group people who basically oversee the CU in various different areas. They are not in charge or own the CU, all they are doing is carrying out God's work within the CU. Here is the exec for this year (2010/2011)

• Luke Pibworth: CU President – Luke’s role is to oversee the CU and make sure things run smoothly in every area of CU. He is there to support the committee and answer any questions that anyone may have. He is the first point of contact for enquires that come from outside of the CU.

  Amanda Perry: Vice President – Amanda’s roles are to support the president in his role and assist in overseeing the whole CU. She is also responsible for organising the CU weekends away.

  Matt Burnett: Prayer Co-ordinator – Matt is responsible for gathering together a prayer team to pray for the Christian Union and its work on campus. He co-ordinates and organises prayer points each week and also holds prayer meetings on campus. Further, he will write and send future prayer letters.

  Tim Grivell: Evangelism Co-ordinator – Tim’s main role is to co-ordinate, organise and generally oversee the evangelism at both campuses. He co-ordinates the evangelistic team, asking them to organise and help with the events held at Park and Avenue campus.

  Kathryn Young: Communications/Treasurer/Admin - Kathryn deals with all the admin and accounts for the CU. She sends e-mails to the members, speakers and anyone else who needs correspondence. She co-ordinates and completes admin tasks to support each committee member and brings up to date news to the CU members.

  Charlotte Bramble: Small Groups Co-ordinator – Charlotte’s role is to co-ordinate the different small groups during the next term and the transitional phase of fresher’s week. Also, her role is to select and decide with the committee the topics for the CU to study mid week.
  

  Sarah Hawkins: Publicist – In a new position, Sarah overseas the publicity for the CU on campus. She takes care of social networks and is responsible for creating flyers and posters for evangelistic events.
