GET INVOLVED.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the LORD and not for men, since you know that you will receive and inheritance from the LORD as a reward
- Colossians 3:23-24.

The Bible calls us to serve the LORD with our whole lives and one of the ways each of us can do that is by helping at CU. We rely on every member of the CU to get involved in serving the CU in different ways, big and small. Please think about how you can be involved over the next year:

• Playing in the worship band, we are always looking for all you talented musicians out there to play in the worship band. If you're interested then please e-mail the CU or talk to Anna Shotter.
• Helping at evangelistic events, these events always need a lot of input and there are many jobs to do. Evangelism is such an important aspect of CU and we really want your help, so if you can please do. E-mail the CU or talk to James Jarvis.
• Helping co-ordinate prayer meetings, prayer is such an important part of communicating to God. We should communicate with God daily so if you can help with prayer meetings please talk to Joanne Pettit or once again e-mail the CU.
• Flyering around both campuses and/or organising flyering on both campuses, when we have events coming up it is very important to publicise as much as we can so we can bring in more people to hear God's word. If you can help in any way please talk to James Jarvis or e-mail the CU.
• Car drivers, if you have a car and you are willing to give lifts when we have events off campus that would be great. Please tell Adam Houghton if you can.
• Helping set up on a Tuesday evening, each week we have to set up the room by putting the chairs in rows and put the bibles out as well. If you would like to help set up once in a while again please talk to Adam Houghton or e-mail the CU.

Or even if you have any new ideas of events we can do or you want to make a suggestion about any aspect of CU please do. All opinions are valued in the CU. E-mail the CU now with your ideas and suggestions.

Finally the most important way each of can be serving the LORD and the CU is by doing evangelism and inviting our friends to come along to events the CU run. There is absolutely no point us putting on events if no one comes. Most people do not come to an evangelistic event unless they are invited. So please invite your non-Christian friend to events and share the gospel with those around you, for the glory of God.
